NC Parents: Have You Given Your Feedback On DPI’s Alleged Common Core Changes?

As previously reported here at StopCommonCoreNC, North Carolina’s Dept. of Public Instruction (DPI) has entered into ‘revisions’ to Common Core’s high school math. Some may know it as Math I, II, III or Integrated math.

After taking a look at some of the proposed changes, many these revisions appear to be mainly cosmetic with a few exceptions.

Common Core Rebrand Lipstick PigAlso, the majority of feedback during the Academic Standards Review Commission indicated teachers disliked Integrated math and wanted it gone.

Is this a rebrand?  Maybe.

Is action being taken now to keep the legislature at bay during the short session? Likely.

Having said that, there is still time for the public to chime in.  Put your own shade of lipstick on this Rebrand Pig.
